Many writers don’t want to jinx a potential sale by talking about it until the contract is actually signed. Some editors forbid authors to discuss potential sales until it’s a “done deal.” Well, my contract has been sold and I may safely brag that I have sold a story to House Blackwood, a small (but reputable) small press.

I am pleased to announce that my modern fantasy story, “The Selkie Who Loved Buttermilk Biscuits” will be appearing in Tales from OmniPark. The book will be out late fall or early winter of 2020. It should be ready in plenty of time for Christmas, Hanukkah, or Kwanzaa presents.

Stories and Authors

Ben Thomas …. “The Dark Ride”

Gemma Files …. “Uncertainty”

Dr. Brian Evenson … “All Those Lost Days”

Jesse Bullington & Brent Winter ….“Quantum Summer”

Orrin Grey …. “The Robot Apeman Waits for the Nightmare Blood to Stop”

Brad Kelly…. “The Secret of Invention”

Alicia Hilton…. “Stellar Nucleosynthesis and the Infinite Power of Love”

T.M. Morgan….. “Outside of Everything, There Is Nothing”

Katharine Gripp… “Here There Be Dragons”

Anna Maloney…. “The Ultimate Technosopher’s Guide”

Pedro Iniguez …“Bottom Feeders”

Ted Moore…. “Lloyd — or, The Fiver”

Max Gold…. “The Fisherman’s Last Call”

Marshall J. Moore …“Beyond the Confines of Man”

Susan Murrie Macdonald …“The Selkie Who Loved Buttermilk Biscuits”

Ethan Hedman ….“That Which Skulks Among the Stars”

Patrick Bates…. “Down Came the Rains”

Ryan Clement…. “This Universe Is Yours to Explore”

Tina Marie DeLucia ….. “Cadence: a Coda”

If you want to guarantee that the book is published in a timely fashion, invest in the Kickstarter. The publisher has 10% of the necessary investment all ready which isn’t bad for a Kickstarter than started mere days ago.
